Strong winds push motorcyclist off road

 


Strong winds Wednesday morning were too much for a motorcyclist. Dale Dean Parker, 65, of Cherokee, was driving a 2018 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on OK-132 about 9:06 a.m. when he attempted to negotiate a left hand curve. The motorcycle left the roadway to the right side due to strong crosswinds, rolled a half time and came to rest in the south ditch.

Parker was transported by Pond Creek EMS to Bass Hospital in Enid where he was admitted in stable condition with leg injuries. The wreck occurred two miles north and a half mile east of Nash.
