Situation update: COVID-19

The state has begun releasing a weekly report that compares the number of COVID-19 cases to the preceding week. For the week of April 23-29 there were 579 confirmed cases, down 8.2 percent from the previous week. Recovered cases totaled 539, down 4.6 percent from the previous week. There were 44 deaths during the week, down 6.4 percent from the week of April 16-22.
As of April 28, Oklahoma has tested 61,619 people for COVID-19 with 3,717 cases confirmed positive.
