The Woods County Economic Development Committee (WCEDC) still hasn’t made a public decision on hiring an executive director. During a special meeting Monday noon at the Northwest Technology Center in Alva, the WCEDC came out of executive session and immediately tabled any action on hiring someone for the position.

Present for the meeting were committee members Allan Poe, Susan Bradford, Jeremy Eaton, Randy McMurphy, Dr. Bo Hannaford and Matt Tucker. Dr. Kay Decker was absent. Sonja Williams, who resigned as executive director, handled the meeting minutes....
