The Burlington Class of 2020 plans their graduation for Friday, May 22, at 7 p.m. For the first time in anyone's memory, the BHS commencement will be held outside on a grass lawn north of the school.

This change is due to the COVID-19 pandemic that's ravaged America the last few months and continues to cause shutdowns of schools, businesses and much more. The purpose has been to flatten the curve of the contagious virus. Social distancing has accomplished much to flatten the curve and this week some states are starting to slowly open up some businesses, etc.
