Nescatunga Arts Festival postponed until Aug. 8

 


That ugly COVID-19 pandemic keeps rearing its ugly head. This time it's messing with the Nescatunga Arts Festival.

The headline says the festival is postponed until Aug. 8. You're thinking – an outdoor festival in August – no way! Everyone will have a heat stroke.

Nescatunga President Charla Parker said the festival will be in downtown Alva, but in various air-conditioned buildings. The quilt show will be in the Woods County Courthouse lobby as usual. The committee is working out the logistics now, but the Runnymede and Act I buildings will be used for artists, crafters, entertainment, food an...
