Alfalfa County to hold special COVID-19 meeting this Friday

There wasn't much doing at the Alfalfa County commissioner meeting this week. Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall spent the majority of their time giving signatures to the usual orders of business (maintenance and operation warrants for payment, blanket purchase orders, and monthly officer reports). There were no road-crossing permits for the week.

Valerie Vetter, Alfalfa County's treasurer, was on hand to explain to commissioners about some legislation being tied up in the senate. That situation may call for the treasurer's resale to be held at a later date than usual, and because of CO...
