Alva Regional Airport sets policies for overdue hangar rent

The Alva Airport Commission hopes to solve a problem of past due accounts on hangar rentals. The airport owns several hangars and leases space on a monthly or yearly payment basis. During the Monday, May 11, meeting, commission members discussed and approved policies to handle overdue accounts payments
Commission member Paul Kinzie collected information from several different airports to help prepare a proposed policy. “Everybody has a hard patch once in a while, but if we let it go it will spread,” Kinzie said.
