EMS changes, audit highlight Alva City Council agenda

The Alva City Council will tackle several important and possibly controversial issues during their regular meeting Monday night. The 6:30 p.m. meeting has been moved to the Alva Recreation Complex, 1887 Goldbug Blvd., to allow for social distancing.
One of those issues concerning the audit is covered in a separate story. Another issue involves the Alva Emergency Medical Services. In a social media post, Alva Mayor Kelly Parker wrote, “It’s come to my attention that there is some misunderstanding surrounding the topic of the Alva EMS. The Alva EMS continues to operate and has not been closed.
