Building water leaks and roofing dominated the discussion during the quarterly Alva Recreation Complex Board meeting held Wednesday afternoon, May 13.

First the board looked over January financials which previously did not include payroll figures. Interim City Business Manager Angelica Brady explained the city switched over to a new payroll service with direct deposit instead of checks. Now the payroll has to be added manually through journal entries.
