The Kiwanis Club of Alva recently selected their 2019-2020 school year scholarship recipient and a sophomore of the year. The students are traditionally invited to attend a Kiwanis meeting, where they are honored and receive their award. All Kiwanis Club meetings have been postponed until August; the students will be invited to a club meeting to formally receive their recognition in the fall.
