PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Three former Democratic presidential candidates are delivering remarks to rally Maine Democrats on Sunday against the backdrop of a nation roiled by rage over police mistreatment of people of color.

The "virtual rally" was to include pre-recorded comments from Sens. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Kamala Harris of California, along with Democratic Gov. Janet Mills and candidates seeking office or reelection including U.S. Reps. Chellie Pingree and Jared Golden of Maine.
