Alva Schools to continue with art building remodel

Greg McClure, art instructor for Alva Public Schools, describes the remodeling plans for the art building to the school board Monday.
Art instructor Greg McClure spoke to the Alva Board of Education during their meeting Monday. Plans for the remodeling of the art building were projected on a screen, and McClure described how the different sections will be used.
McClure said one of his goals was to make sure he could see every part of the building from a central location. This way he could monitor all students to make sure they were working during class. Entry will be on the east side of the building.
As he pointed to different areas or rooms, McClure explained the purpose of each. There were areas for leatherwork, sculpture,...
