The Summer Reading Program at the Alva Public Library will look different this year. To protect patrons during the pandemic, the library will hold a modified program starting June 8. Instead of programs held weekly at the library, the staff is putting together take-home activity bags for three different age groups. Sign up is not required for the summer reading program.

These activity bags may be picked up at the library desk starting Saturday, June 6, through Wednesday, June 10. Each week after that, the pickup time will run from Saturday through Wednesday. Any child under age 16 entering the...
