Wheeler Brothers in Alva receives the first load of wheat for the 2020 harvest Wednesday evening, June 3, from James and Robert Wiebener. This load comes from the Avard area where James and his wife Edith currently live and tested 63.3 lbs. with moisture at 13.0%. Robert, at the young age of 88, is still currently helping his son with the family farming business and brought the load to town....
