Three from Alva charged in vehicle theft


Three Alva residents are facing felony charges related to the theft of a vehicle that occurred in March.

About 9:30 a.m. on March 16, Alva Police Officer Kaleb Keplinger was notified of a stolen vehicle report. He went to 824 Locust St. where he talked with Steven Ellis, the vehicle owner.

Ellis said he last saw his vehicle on March 15. When he walked outside the next day, he saw it was missing from the driveway. He described it as a green 2016 Jeep Wrangler with “Tonto” on each side of the hood and tan American flag stickers in the rear passenger and driver side windows of the hardto...
