Freedom's Kennedy named Oklahoma Academic Scholar

Cade Kennedy, graduate of Freedom High School, has been named an Oklahoma Academic Scholar.
The purpose of the Oklahoma Academic Scholar program is to recognize the outstanding academic achievement of graduating seniors. Scholars must meet certain criteria such as having a 27 or higher ACT score and a minimum GPA of 3.7.
This accomplishment allows Kennedy to apply for certain scholarships that could pay for tuition and room and board. He also graduates as Freedom High School Class Salutatorian and will receive a scholarship worth $1,250 each year towards tuition.
