Two people from Wakita are facing felony charges for the exploitation of an elderly person. They are alleged to have taken over $25,000 in addition for being liable for an estimated $10,000 damage to rental property.

Joy Renee George, 56, of Wakita, was charged June 4 in Alfalfa County with seven counts of exploitation of an elderly person by deception or intimidation.
