Woods County hears appeal by DCP on valuation

It has become routine for oil and gas companies to appeal and protest their annual assessed property values in Woods County. Thursday morning, June 11, The Woods County Equalization Board met to hear one of those appeals from DCP Operating Company LP whose properties in the county produce natural gas.
Chairman Bob Seivert called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. in the courthouse conference room. Board members Chris Olson and Joe Shirley were present.
