Hardtner will have 4th of July fireworks and celebration

“Hardtner will have Fourth of July fireworks and a celebration,” Syd Sterling said. “Instead of protesting and rioting we are celebrating that we live in this great country and have `Freedom, Family and Fireworks!'”
That incidentally is the theme of Hardtner's 2020 Fourth of July celebration. Those words are on T-shirts that are for sale and help fund the fun day of activities.
“The mother of fireworks won't take no for an answer,” Sterling said. “As my dad (Bob Sterling) used to say, `Life goes on.'”
Of living in a rural community where fresh air is plentiful and you're surrounded by good people, Sterling said, “Thank the Lord we live here.”
