Alva officers hold fundraiser for Kids and Cops

Members of law enforcement just wrapped up another successful fundraiser for their program, Kids and Cops.
Last Friday, Alva reserve police officer (and deputy sheriff) Keith Dale, along with police chief Ben Orcutt and other available officers, spent the day preparing, cooking and serving over 90 pork butts to raise money for their organization.
Selling the meat is one of many fundraising events presented by Kids & Cops; other popular functions they put together are Pack the Park (unfortunately canceled this year because of the coronavirus) and Shop with a Cop at Christmastime. The progr...
