Despite a heavy downpour of rain, the multi-purpose room at the Northwest Technical Center was filled Friday morning with people waiting to hear from state legislators. The monthly Alva Chamber Community Coffee featured Eggs and Issues. The event was hosted by Freedom West LLC. Representative Carl Newton from Cherokee and Senator Casey Murdock from Felt presented information about recent legislation and answered questions from the audience.
