Confirmed coronavirus cases surpass 13,000 in Oklahoma

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The number of reported coronavirus cases in Oklahoma has surpassed 13,000 with more than 200 additional reported cases, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health on Monday.

The department reported 228 newly confirmed cases to bring the total to 13,172, an increase from 12,944 reported on Sunday.

The true number of cases is likely higher because many people have not been tested, and studies suggest people can be infected and not feel sick.
