When the Patriot Guard Motorcycles from Medicine Lodge roar into Hardtner, Kansas, on the Fourth of July with their American Flags blowin' in the wind, a wave of patriotism could well flood your body.
Hardtner's Fourth of July Parade starts at 10 a.m., but the climax will come at the end this year when the Patriot Guard does a veterans salute. Patriot Ronald James will give the tribute to veterans. Any little kids (Lil' Firecrackers) dressed in red, white and blue (and waving flags handed to them) are invited to parade around the open park area downtown during the salute.
