Sack races like this one from 2019 will be part of the Freedom's 4th of July festivities at the rodeo grounds. Competing in the sack race for their division are, from left, Jack Morris, Jaci Weber and Dreama Jones.
The Freedom Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to enjoy the 4th of July at the rodeo grounds Saturday. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish to share.
Activities will include a hot dog eating contest with a $5 entry fee. The winner gets to take all the entry fees. There's a watermelon eating contest for kids.
All ages are invited to enjoy other activities like the sack races, volleyball and turtle races.
The family fun day ends with fireworks.
