Simon home chosen as 'Yard of the Month' by the Alva Garden Council

The Alva Garden Council has selected the yard at 1029 Center St. as the Yard of the Month. Chad and Halah Simon have lived there for 13 years and have created a welcoming environment from the front porch to the star-studded fence that encloses a backyard sanctuary perfect for entertaining and for enjoying the birds and butterflies. Halah's passion for gardening rivals her passion for teaching English at Alva High School. Chad works at Williams Natural Gas Company.
