Cherokee man injured in accident

 


A Cherokee man was injured when his motorized bicycle had a mechanical problem Friday morning, July 3. The incident occurred at 11:16 a.m. on Greer Road, three-tenths of a mile west of County Road 600. The location is approximately 1.3 miles west of Cherokee in Alfalfa County.

Gene Leon Davis, 72, of Cherokee, was driving a Huffy motorized bicycle westbound on Greer Road. The bike experienced mechanical problems with the rear fender, causing Davis to lose control and impact with the roadway.
