In Alfalfa County, July's beginning brought with it the usual monthly reports of appropriations, alcohol beverage tax allocations, highway expenditures, officer reports, and court clerk management and preservation.

Commissioners Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall got to work, first signing off on last week's meeting minutes, the maintenance and operation payment warrants, and blanket purchase orders. There were no road-crossing permits.
