In late summer, our thoughts often turn to the upcoming school year. That is certainly the case this summer. Students at all levels – from kindergarten to graduate school – will be returning to their old institutions or moving on to new ones.
Thousands of college graduates will enroll in law schools. And like their predecessors for the last few decades, they will have to adjust to a new way of learning.
One thing that makes the law school curriculum different from anything else that new legal scholars have experienced before is that they will learn much of the law by reading “cases”...
