Freedom Oklahoma American Legion Post #63: the Hatch-Vincent

 


In March of 1926 the National Organization of the American Legion awarded Freedom's Hatch-Vincent post its name and official Charter. There were 33 original members who worked hard at applying for the charter and pushing to get recognized for our area veterans.

Freedom is known for being a culturally rich area with some pretty amazing and captivating historical stories and facts. This very rich and exciting history can come to life by visiting the museum or by talking to some of the older population.
