Alva Hospital Authority welcomes new CFO

The mood was upbeat at the Alva Hospital Authority (AHA) meeting Tuesday, July 28. There were many reasons. The financial picture is much improved. The hospital has hired a new chief financial officer and a new human resources director. The new doctor has opened his practice. A new CT machine was being considered.
The meeting was chaired by Jason Gaisford. Trustees present were Dr. Kenneth Brown, Dr. Bo Hannaford, Jay Randels and Dr. Michael Lawrence. Those absent were Dr. Halah Simon and Kim Baugh.
