Airport Commission to look at project bids
August 9, 2020
Bids on a new apron expansion project will be on the agenda for the Alva Airport Commission meeting Monday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the terminal building.
The bids are for Phase 1 of the project, which will increase the apron or aircraft parking area around the terminal building at the airport.
In other action, the commission will vote on amendments to two owner-engineer agreements with CEC Corporation. CEC is the airport’s current engineering firm. The two amendments are for additional services to be performed by the engineer involving the installation of the omni-directional approach light system (ODALS) and phase 1 of the apron expansion.
Commission members will also hear the airport manager’s report, a report on city council and look at the airport financial statement for July.
