Monday's commissioner meeting in Alfalfa County didn't take long. After the invocation and flag salute, Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall spent what took the majority of their time signing off on maintenance and operation payment warrants and blanket purchase orders. Minutes from last week were approved too. With no road-crossing permits for the week, the men moved on to approve the county clerk to open up for bid on 12-month ballots for the Alfalfa County Election Board. There was no new business to discuss before the meeting ended....
