County commissioners approve EMS 522 District ballot wording

The Woods County commissioners held a special meeting Thursday morning to rescind three motions they approved during their regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 10. Following the Monday meeting, an error was found in the wording of the items. The Thursday meeting corrected this error.

The action involved setting an election for an EMS 522 District to collect ad valorem tax in the county to support the current ambulance services run by the cities of Alva, Freedom and Waynoka.
