The Town of Freedom held its regular board of trustees meeting last Wednesday evening, Aug. 12.

Virtually present for the brief meeting were Mayor Shad Brackin and Trustee Rolando Galindo, joined later by Trustee Randy Rhodes. Also present were Town Clerk Cindy Reed and grant consultant Jennifer Firgard.

After approving several housekeeping items – paying the OEDA invoice (using the CDBG funds), the bid packet and dates for the CDBG grant, past meeting minutes, and purchase orders, the board listened to department reports.
