Washburn Ford in Alva will soon have a new owner and a new name. Current owner Kirk Washburn said the Ford Motor Company gave their final approval of the sale Thursday, Aug. 20.

According to Washburn, the new owner will be Tony Booth, who has three Chevrolet dealerships in the state of Washington. Booth also owns the Bowtie Hunting Ranch in Cameron, Oklahoma, which is how he became interested in an Oklahoma dealership. The hunting ranch is located about 20 miles from Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
