Cherokee woman's plans disclosed by mail delivery

In smaller towns, mail carriers often look at a person’s name and know where to deliver a letter. That worked against a woman in Cherokee recently. Pieces of mail addressed to a man in Cherokee but with her address were delivered to the man.

Court records show on April 8 Steven Littlefield contacted law enforcement after receiving several notices from various businesses regarding applications for credit in his name when he had not applied for credit. He became aware of this after the postal service delivered the notices to him instead of delivering to the address on the mail which was 523 S. F...
