What do a dough-making plant, a movie theater and a landscaping business have in common? All are located in Alva, all benefited from state business relief programs and all were visited Wednesday by representatives of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODOC).

Commerce Department Executive Director Brent Kisling is no stranger to the area having grown up in Burlington located northeast of Alva in Alfalfa County.
