In the Godfather movie one of Michael Corleone's famous lines is, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." That's how I feel about the weeds. If it had not rained this past week, I was finally about caught up on the Johnson grass and weeds. I walked past some weeds, and they seemed to say "you just thought we were gone." They seem to grow at about a five-inch-a-day rate.
