WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A man fatally shot himself with deputy's gun following a standoff with police outside a home east of Wichita, authorities in south-central Kansas said.

The incident began Sunday morning when Butler County Sheriff's deputies were called to the home for a domestic violence report, television station KAKE reported. Arriving deputies said they were confronted by a man who lived at home and who initially barricaded himself in the house. He later ran from the house to a bus parked outside before approaching deputies, officials said.
