An Alfalfa County man has been charged with child abuse involving his grandchild.

According to court records, on June 4 Alfalfa County Sheriff Rick Wallace told Deputy Ryan Madden he had received a report of the alleged physical abuse of a 22-month-old infant by her grandfather Travis Barton at a residence in Driftwood.
