Excise board approves two estimates of needs

The Woods County Excise Board held a special meeting Wednesday morning to approve two final estimates of needs for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Vice Chairman Chris Olson presided in the absence of Bob Seivert. Board member Joe Shirley was also present.
Woods County Clerk Shelley Reed presented the two budgets still pending for the county. Waynoka Public School I-3 lists a general fund of $12,355,950.50, a building fund of $2,528,934.76 and a new sinking fund of $1,100,041.67. The Town of Freedom Estimate of Needs totals $150,445.96.
Both items were approved, and the meeting was adjourned.
