Alva Schools continue in-person classes

In a message to parents Friday, Alva school Superintendent Tim Argo said in-person classes will continue despite Woods County entering the red level on the state map. It appears he is referring to the map posted by the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) Friday that shows Woods, Alfalfa and Woodward counties as being among the nine red counties. That indicates greater than 50 cases in a population of 100,000. The OSSBA map shows levels of green, yellow, orange 1, orange 2 and red.
