The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Remember the deadline to register to vote in this election is Oct. 9. (Originally listed as Oct. 5 which was wrong. That's the new date for the final response to the 2020 Census. Woods County Election Board in Alva is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. County offices will be closed Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 12.) The first presidential debate between Trump and Biden was scheduled for last night (Tuesday) after our press deadline. It will be interesting to see how that works out.

I have my DVR set up to record the debate. Hopefully I’ll have the patience to watch it...
