Woods County commissioners discuss removal of water tower at Waynoka

The Woods County commissioners didn’t have a lot on the agenda for their Monday morning meeting. However, under new business they had a couple of interesting discussions.
Commissioner John Smiley said Dollar General has purchased property at the corner of Ash and Main in Waynoka to build a store. He said they asked him if the county would be able to help the city to take down a water tower on an adjoining lot. If the water tower is not removed, they would need to build a retaining wall.
