WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Wichita police are looking for a man suspected of posing as a police officer to pull over a driver.

The Wichita Eagle reports that a police impersonator, driving a dark-colored car with red and blue emergency lights in the windshield, pulled over a driver Monday night. Police say the man was wearing a blue or black uniform and was armed with a handgun.

Police say the impostor asked the driver for license and insurance, looked at the documents, gave them back, and left.
