This year, Burlington welcomes a new elementary principal and sixth grade teacher, Stan Pedersen.

Pedersen has been teaching for 16 years. He taught at Aline-Cleo before he came to Burlington. Pedersen says he enjoys being at Burlington because the administration, staff and students have been very welcoming. He chose Burlington because both of his boys are students and they have lived in the district for many years.
