Gov. Stitt, COVID-19 and business in northwest Oklahoma

This past week, an interim study I requested on the rules and regulations for Oklahoma meat processing facilities was held at the state Capitol. I believe increasing investment in these businesses will lead to more jobs and opportunities for rural Oklahoma. We talked about the need for more inspectors and we also heard about the need for more resources to assist in expansion and employee retention. These facilities are vital to our economy and to our nation’s food chain.
