Celebrating National 4-H Week

Monday the Woods County Commissioners signed a proclamation celebrating National 4-H Week Oct. 4-10. Greg Highfill and Susan Holliday from the OSU Extension Office attended the meeting in the courthouse conference room.

"We've got about 112-120 4-Hers active in the county," said Highfill. "We have active clubs at Waynoka, Alva and Freedom. All our volunteer workers work really hard to keep those meetings active and to promote our kids. Certainly we couldn't do it without the support of our county commissioners and the support given to the extension service."
