MEDICINE LODGE, Kansas – Douglas William Thomas has been arrested in Attica, Kansas, early Tuesday morning, Oct. 6, on suspicion of second-degree murder committed in the State of Louisiana, announced Barber County, Kansas, Attorney Gaten Wood.

In the evening hours of Monday, Oct. 5, Thomas was located at Casey's General Store in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. When law enforcement was called to that location, Thomas left driving a silver 2006 Lexus RX 330.
