MONKEYING AROUND – How often do students get their picture with the superintendent who is hanging upside down on the monkey bars? The September Awesome Chieftain-Tornadoes at South Barber's Elementary School did with Dr. Mylo Miller. They are Liam Brattin (second grade) and Austin Swonger (sixthth grade). Teachers spotted these students displaying kindness and responsibility during September. Their parents received a letter in the mail with the nomination from their teacher, a certificate of recognition, a T-shirt and lunch off campus with the superintendent.
